Dear Pastor Hurley,
I found my CD case today. It has been missing in action for 6 months. I found it in my trunk earlier Wednesday. This morning I was taking a friend home and put in the CD where the topic you spoke about was called Choices. When I dropped him off he asked me to come in. He showed me a 9mm pistol, an empty bullet casing and where the bullet ended up hitting which was his water bed. He told me that he put one in the chamber, put the gun to his head, and as he pulled the trigger he says a presence pushed him out of the way as the gun was going off.
I thank God for 1 putting you in my life. 2. You speaking about choices. 3 me finding my CD case. 4. Me making a choice to put that CD in. 5. For my friend to open up to me about what happen on the night of the 16th. Everything happends for a reason.

Hello, Pastor-
I just wanted to update you and thank you for your prayers. My husband just came from an interview and they hired him on the spot. Not only is this job closer to our home (less gas and wear and tear on our poor car!! lol) and more of what he enjoys (driving a truck)...it's more money and better benefits...and he's off on Sundays!!!! To God be all the glory. I KNEW He was moving and going to do something wonderful. Please thank your wife and your saints for praying for us here in Louisiana.We are VERY grateful.
Here's a little nugget that God did just for me to ease my mind: after we sent the prayer request to you guys, my husband called about this job. While on hold to speak with the boss (and ultimately set up the interview), the music that was playing (a secular company, mind you!!) was "I'll Fly Away" (my most favorite hymn in the world!!!!)My husband said, "Babe, you won't believe this...listen!!!) I know this was God's way of telling me He heard my prayers and He was (is) in control. Thought you might enjoy that. God bless!!

Greetings in the name of our Blessed Lord and Savior and King of our Lives Jesus Christ Lord of All!!! My name is Ginger Martinez and I live in the Atlanta, Ga area. I saw your prayer board and your obvious amazing faith and I would like to share this praise with you. Just last week I witnessed a very amazing work of our sacred Lord Jesus Christ over my own body! I was jogging at 5:30 am as I do before work each morning when a car, who I believe was drag racing, struck the curb in front of me and hit a nearby oak tree. The car was entirely destroyed and sent large amounts of debris in all directions striking me to the ground and slitting my body with glass. fortunately a young man was walking his dog and he happened to be a paramedic. He rushed me to the hospital where they prepared to operate. My pastor heard about the accident and came to the hospital to pray for me. To make a very long story short, a large piece of glass had punctured my lung and after his prayer the lung was totally fine and entirely functional!!! I am able to breathe and have been jogging again starting yesterday! the doctors said that they have never before seen anyone overcome such a situation!

I was driving in my car the other day through a very bad part of town, an area anyone in their right mind would never go. However, I needed to pick up some goods I had purchased from a friend of mine who lived in this area. Anyway, I have a religious bumper sticker on my Volvo that says, "Don't Cross the Cross." on my way out of his home, I found my car had had all six windows shattered, the tires knifed, the doors dented and scratched with a baseball bat. When I ran to see what had happened I was jumped by two large men who began beating me. Fortunately God had his hands over me and I escaped with only a broken arm, however my car is destroyed and I have no way of getting to church other than my bicycle. I only pray for the men who had jumped me and that they would find Jesus. I feel from their words that they were offended by my religious standing as well as my melinin. If you could keep me in your prayers as I am still sore as well as these men that they would turn from their ways and find the true salvation of our Lord Jesus Christ. I see why I made pastor Hurley’s church a home.....I have found a church here in Ohio (Dayton) that preaches truth got re-baptized and am moving on to higher places no one else except for Jesus could restore me thank you pastor Hurley and family for your many prayers as well as church body!!!!! feel free to email me yall that know me and stay in contact remember there is only one faith one lord and one baptism in Jesus name thank you thank you thank you!!!!!!

My niece,who is 28 years old and was born deaf, had surgery that might help her hear. Yesterday, for the first time in her life, she was able to hear her parents voices. I just want to give God ALL the glory and honor.

While driving down the truck route @ 70 mph I heard what sounded like a brick hit my truck. I didn't stop to check on it, but as I started to cross over 27, it became apparent that my tire had blown out. It amazes me because I never swirved or anything. I know that God had his hand on my truck. I am so thankful to serve a God that only has to say "Peace Be Still" & everything is calm. God is AWESOME!!!!!!!

Pastor Hurley, thank you for praying for me. You know, I have experienced Holy Ghost blessings in my life, but never like that. Something wonderful happened to me, I know that. I don't know why He loves me so much, but I know that He does (even after doubting that very love when my first son and daughter were born and then died so soon). You know, I never really prayed for my blind eye, I just accepted the fact that it happened after the pregnancies. But now, I am faced with the reality of removing the blind eye because of pain, and the effects it has on my seeing eye. I am so excited now to see the full extent of my blessing I received! Thank you for your kindness to me and my family.

My friend Sonya found out that she was expecting twins, but the doctor said he could not find a heartbeat for one of the babies. He told her not to get her hopes up and to come back in two weeks. She called me and asked for prayer and I told her to put it in God's hands. She went back and both heartbeats were going strong. That was 3 months ago and she is now 5 months and everything is going well. Thank you Jesus!!

My cousin, Cheree Chavis, was diagnosed with cancer of the Uterus with a hand sized tumor. She was sent to Shands Hospital for surgery. Upon her arrival, in preparation for the surgery, they performed more tests and found the tumor was gone! There was absolutely no sign of cancer! That’s what the God we serve can do. Thank you Jesus!
